The inspiration for my photography comes from two major sources: The place that I come from and the places I've been.

 

Going to school in Philadelphia was a huge environmental change for me. As I experienced the city, I began to realize that as picturesque as nature can be, sometimes man-made structures can possess a certain kind of beauty as well. It's easy to glare with distaste at a massive concrete building or crumbling old shed without noticing the remarkable architecture, or the way the broken boards create an aesthetically pleasing symmetry. Sometimes a different angle is all it takes to not only notice but appreciate it.
